Welcome to the family-friendly Oeschiland beginners' park! This is where young and old snow bunnies meet and learn to ski or snowboard in a relaxed atmosphere in a sunny and sheltered location. Sledging is also allowed! Simply small, friendly and informal - Oeschiland offers everything you need for a magical sports experience. BEGINNER'S PARADISE

Key Facts

Our beginners' park has a wide, sloping slope that makes it easy for beginners to learn to ski. And there is also a sledging area! After the descent, two magic carpets take you safely back to the top. A children's drag lift, carousels, figures and other play equipment provide plenty of variety. Further information can be found in the trailer. Admission to the beginners' park is free for all guests. All you need is a ticket for the gondola ride.

SNOWPARK "Oeschipark"

DESCRIPTION Come and visit our snowpark. It's a small but nice snowpark. Whether you're just starting out or already dropping pro moves - your playground awaits.

REQUIREMENT Anyone can use the snowpark free of charge, no special requirements are needed, just a ski pass. Suitable for kids, youngsters, the young at heart, rookies and hobby riders.

ELEMENTS The snowpark with T-bar lift offers various fun elements such as jumps, kickers, rails and a jib area. The snow park is located at the Bire lift, see digital map.

What you should know.

Are lockers available at the top or bottom station?

Yes, there are lockers and ski racks at the top and bottom stations. Payment can be made digitally by debit card, Visa/Mastercard, Twint or cash. Weekly and season passes for lockers and ski racks are available at the ticket office.

Which outdoor guidelines should be observed when providing first aid?

In an emergency, call the 1414 rescue service immediately. In winter, the SOS patrolman (0041 79 481 01 12) should also be informed. There is an SOS room at the mountain and valley stations. Defibrillators are located at the mountain and valley stations and at the Oeschinensee mountain restaurant, near the lakeshore.

Do children travel free of charge and is the SBB Junior Card/Swiss Family Card valid?

Yes, children under the age of 6 travel free on the Cable car. Children with an SBB Junior Card or a Swiss Family Card travel free of charge on the Cable car. Please exchange these for a corresponding Cable car at the Infocenter at the valley station - a time slot reservation is not necessary, children with a Junior Card/Swiss Family Card have access to the same time slot as the accompanying person.

What outdoor guidelines apply to the use of toilets?

Public toilets are located at the mountain and valley stations and at the mountain restaurant on the lake shore. Further toilets are available in Oeschinensee. Going to the toilet in nature should be avoided. However, if you do need to use the "natural toilet", please do not leave any paper, tissues or wet wipes behind.

Is my AlpsPassS or Magicpass valid?

No, the AlpsPass or Magicpass are not valid at Oeschinensee . You have the option of purchasing a season ticket for the winter season (CHF 100.- for adults, CHF 50.- for children). This offer is only available at the ticket office at the valley station.

Can I hire sledges somewhere?

Yes, sledges can be hired at the Oeschinensee mountain station for CHF 20 per day. There is a short toboggan run from the mountain station to the shore of Lake Oeschinen. The way back to the mountain station is on foot. Duration: approx. 30-40 minutes. Sledging is also permitted in the Oeschiland beginners' park.

Is my Adelboden-Lenk ski pass valid?

No. The Kandersteg ski region is no longer a partner of the IG Skiregion Adelboden-Lenk (IGSAL). It is possible to buy a season connection ticket Adelboden-Lenk for the Oeschinensee: children CHF 23.- adults CHF 46.- exclusively at the ticket office at the valley station. Incl. Sunnbühl: CHF 80.-/40.-.

Is there a snow park in the Oeschinensee ski area?

Yes, there is a small snow park. The "Oeschipark" offers various fun elements and jibs for beginners. The snow park is located in the immediate vicinity of the Bire lift. Whether you're just starting out or want to refine your tricks, the Oeschipark is the perfect place!

Is there a beginners' park for skiers or snowboarders?

Yes, after a short ride on the Cable car you will reach the mountain station. Right next to it is the Oeschiland beginners' park, for young and old snow bunnies and ideal for families with children. With a large and a small magic carpet, children's lift, 2 fun carousels and various play figures as well as a sledge run.
