Mountain hotel Oeschinensee

The Berghotel Oeschinensee has been owned by the Wandfluh family since it was built in 1892. It is now run by the fifth generation.

Bergstübli by Berghotel Oeschinensee

Since 2020, the Wandfluh family has been running the Bergstübli restaurant, right next to the mountain station.

Arva mountain inn

Linger in the sunshine on the serviced terrace with a view of the Oeschinensee and the Blüemlisalp massif. Or simply retreat to the cozy Bergstübli with its Swedish stove when the fog rolls in over the lake. Seasonal, regional and homemade: reduction and simplicity on the plate and in the glass.

To the mountain hut

The restaurant Zur Sennhütte (formerly Berghaus Läger) was built in 1974 and is located above Oeschinensee.

Opening hours

  • Open daily, from May to October from 09h00 to approx. 16h00.
  • Note: Closed in bad weather.

  • Enjoy our home-style Swiss dishes and homemade products on the sun terrace or in the restaurant, in a rustic, cozy and nostalgic atmosphere.
  • From the mountain station Oeschinensee you walk for about 30 minutes on a good nature trail.
