This sled run is arguably the most exciting sled run in the Bernese Highlands. Get on and off you go! Experience sledding fun like nowhere else on a run of 3.5 km. Whisk down the the steep mountain side directly to the valley station of the gondola cableway.

Winter season starts Dec 22, all slopes and tracks will be open. The lake is not frozen yet.

Hiking access to Oeschinensee is closed due to slope preparations. Please consider that in winter, no official walking access from town to the lake. For your own safety use the cable car.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are the temperatures on the mountain, are special jackets required?

The region is at an elevation of 1600 m. Warm winter clothing is always recommended. Temperatures on the mountain can be cold even in sunny weather.

What kind of clothing / gear is recommended?

Sledding is only fun with the right gear. Gloves, helmet, ski pants, and sturdy shoes (as well as gaiters) are recommended.
