Mountain hiking with majestic views at Lake Oeschinen

Seniors can reach the lake on the walking trail from the mountain station, and return on foot or via electric car service. Several hiking trails lead from Kandersteg to the lake – each trail offers a different route, but all must conquer the 400-meter difference in elevation between Kandersteg and the lake. Your reward is a cool dip in the lake and a one-of-a-kind backdrop. The Heuberg loop is highly recommended – it affords the most spectacular views.
