Fishing at the mountain lake
You can fish in the picturesque and quiet surroundings of Lake Oeschinen both summer and winter.
Patience & practice make perfect. Fishing in mountain lakes is an art onto itself. Time of day and weather have a great impact on your chances for success. Try your luck; a fishing license can be bought directly on site.
Licenses for a day or week can be purchased directly at the restaurants at Lake Oeschinen. Fishing supplies such as maggots, worms, hooks, rods, or ice augers are not for sale or rent at the lake. You need to bring these with you. Fishing at Lake Oeschinen is regulated by the Bernese Cantonal Fishing Law for mountain lakes.
