From summer 2025, reservations will be required for Cable car from mid-June to mid-September. The winter season is not affected. Ticket reservations will be possible online.
The gold, silver and bronze passes can be ordered online and will be sent by post. All other passes (Adelboden-Lenk connection pass, Top4, MagicPass) can only be purchased at the ticket office at the valley station of Cable car Kandersteg Oeschinensee .
Gold card: Kandersteg residents with tax domicile in Kandersteg.
Silver card: Local residents with tax domicile in the municipalities of Kandergrund, Frutigen, Adelboden and Reichenbach (incl. Kiental).
Bronze card: second home owners from Kandersteg who pay flat-rate visitor's tax for one year. Vacation guests are not eligible.
Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable. The addresses are checked against the municipality. Subscriptions will be blocked immediately in the event of non-compliance.

No, dynamic prices are not an issue. The prices will be based on the seasons (July / August = higher prices), but will not be influenced by the weather. The prices do not change from day to day and are published at the beginning of the season.
Yes, a Sunnbühl Gold / Silver / Bronze Card connection subscription (year) is available at the ticket offices of the Oeschinen and Sunnbühl valley stations and online when ordering the Gold / Silver / Bronze Card.
Only Kandersteg residents who live and pay taxes in Kandersteg are eligible for the Goldcard. Unfortunately, Kandersteg residents who have moved away are not included in this circle. Hiking trail helpers receive a free annual pass for all Kandersteg mountain railroads. Residents of Frutigen or Reichenbach are entitled to a discounted Silver Card. No exceptions are made for Gold Cards, as the conditions for obtaining them are clear.

Continuous operation of the Cable car from November 23, 2024 to March 16, 2025. The Oeschiland beginners' park is open on weekends from the beginning of December if there is snow. As soon as possible, a cross-country ski trail for beginners will be groomed on the "Lättige Bode".
