Ice Walk - closed

Kandersteg - Oeschinensee: 500 vertical meters

Snowshoe trail valley station - Oeschinensee (A) open - approx. 90' - The winter footpath to Oeschinensee is only accessible with snowshoes or good footwear (ice spikes).
Restaurant Bergstübli (mountain station) - open from 09:00 to 16:00
Restaurant Oeschinensee closed until 21.12. - Restaurant Bergstübli at the mountain station open.
Cafebar at Oeschinensee - closed
  • Guest service : daily from 08:30-17h for you under 0041 33 675 11 18 Cable car@ oeschinensee.ch and reachable.
  • In an emergency, call the rescue service on 1414 (Rega / SAR).
  • The SOS rooms and 2 defibrillators are located at the toilets of the valley station and at the exit of the mountain station.

Mountain station lockers - in operation
Lockers Large, medium and small lockers are available at the valley and mountain stations. Ski depots are located at the valley and mountain stations. A changing room is also available at the valley station. Payment by card, cash or cell phone possible.

Picnic area

Picnic room mountain station 1st floor open from 09:00 to 16:00

At the mountain station on the 1st floor (take the footpath around the building).

  • No reservation possible
  • Capacity max. 40 persons

Ice fishing info: - As long as the lake is not yet frozen, fishing is only possible from the shore from January 1st. Ice fishing from the beginning of January - as soon as the lake is frozen and open.

Lockers and ski storage

Large, medium and small lockers are available at the valley and mountain stations. There are also ski depots on the mountain and in the valley. You can comfortably put on your ski equipment in the heated room in the valley station. Payment is possible by card, mobile phone or coin.

Picnic area

In the mountain station, 1st basement (take the path around the house) is a picnic room available. Open 10-15h - not reservable.

Wheelchair & other assistive devices

The Cable car is at ground level and therefore offers uncomplicated access with a wheelchair or other assistive device.

In winter, however, the best way to get to the lake and back is with the help of a sledge.

Otherwise, access to the Bergstübli directly at the mountain station is guaranteed.
