The Cable car from Kandersteg to Oeschinensee is connected to public transport - so don't forget your GA or Half-Fare travelcard. The Junior Card is valid and entitles children accompanied by a parent to free travel.(Only valid on cable car rides, no ski day tickets!)
After about a 30-minute walk you will reach Oeschinensee.
In winter you can enjoy a leisurely descent by toboggan to the lake and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Please note: In winter no footpath to the valley or from the valley to the lake! Downhill skiing and snowboarding possible.
