Lake Oeschinen is a Unesco World Heritage Site and considered by many to be the most beautiful mountain lake in the Alps. It lies above Kandersteg and is an intact mountain lake fed by the glacial streams of the three-thousand-metre peaks Blüemlisalp, Oeschinenhorn, Fründenhorn and Doldenhorn. Water rats, nature lovers and hikers get their money's worth here.
The gondola is open from 09h-17h. Oeschiland and restaurants are open. Hiking trail to the lake and ice walk are open. Access to Lake Oeschinen is open, ice fishing is open. Have fun at Lake Oeschinen!
