Art in Kandersteg was first held in summer 1998.

The motto was “Land of Legends” and several artists from all over the world created their sculptures along the banks of the Oeschinen Lake.

In summer 2004, under the motto „Living Space“ the artists sculpted works, out of wood and stone, all along the path from the chair-lift to the lake.

Just a reminder – not all sculptures are visible when the water in the lake is high.
These sculptures are permanently in place and can be admired in summer and winter.
