To get here

Car / Bus
Follow the brown sings in center town „Oeschinensee“.
There’s a large parking lot at the bottom station of the cable-car (CHF 4 per day). The Oeschinen Lake can only be reached on foot or with the cable-car.

Public transport / Bus and train
The holiday train „Lötschberger“ brings you from Bern/Speiz to Kandersteg. A 15 minute walk and you’re ready to board the cable-car.

By foot
A 25 minute walk from the top station of the cable car brings you to the Oeschinen Lake. For old or disabled people there is a taxi driving to the lake.
The walking track from the bottom station to the lake takes around 1 ½ hours.
